The Research Network on the **Developmental and Intergenerational Origins of Children's Health** is a group of multidisciplinary inter-university researchers, clinicians and patients working together to develop research into the preconception and perinatal processes that have an impact on the global health of the child.
The objectives are to:
* Structure collaborative, interdisciplinary research in the fields of reproductive, maternal and pediatric health;
* Improve our understanding of the etiology, development and prevention of health and disease, from an intergenerational perspective;
* Accelerate the identification, validation and implementation of innovative preventive or therapeutic approaches likely to have an impact on the overall health of the child who will in turn become a parent.
