In partnership with international research networks, Maelstrom Research developed a standard approach to documenting and disseminating epidemiological study metadata. The standardized study description model and variable classification ontology developed are being used to create comprehensive study metadata catalogues in numerous collaborative projects from all over the world. Some of these network-specific catalogues are integrated within the Maelstrom Catalogue, which provides free, user-friendly, web-based solutions for data discovery across a large number of studies.
