COVID-19 Cohort Study of People Experiencing Homelessness in Toronto
The specific objectives of this study are to:
* Determine the prevalence and incidence of COVID-19 among people experiencing homelessness in Toronto over a 12-month observation period.
* Examine whether housing history and individual- and shelter-level characteristics are associated with incident COVID-19 infection among the homeless population.
* Investigate whether housing history and individual- and shelter-level characteristics are associated with worse health outcomes among people experiencing homelessness diagnosed with COVID-19.
* Study vaccine uptake and reasons for vaccine hesitancy among people experiencing homelessness
* Use data from this cohort study to build an accurate and iteratively updated transmission model of COVID-19 in the homeless population.
