Italian Longitudinal Study on Aging
The objectives of the study were to investigate frequency, risk and protective factors of major age-associated chronic conditions (hypertension, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, cardiac arrhythmia, congestive heart failure, diabetes, peripheral artery disease, stroke, dementia, parkinsonism, and distal symmetric neuropathy of lower limbs) and to study physical and functional changes in the cohort.
