Brain Ageing in Abbiategrasso Study
The goals of the InveCe.Ab study are:
- To estimate the prevalence and incidence of dementia and its subtypes, mild cognitive impairment, and cognitive impairment with no dementia in people 70 to 74 years of age at baseline;
- To investigate the potential risk or protective value of various epidemiologic, clinical, and biological factors as determinants of the quality of cognitive aging and dementia onset. Special attention is given to understanding how modifiable risk factors impact cognitive impairment with and without dementia.
