Montreal Neighbourhood Networks and Healthy Aging study
The Montreal Neighbourhood Networks and Healthy Aging study (MoNNET-HA) was established with three main objectives:
(i) To assess the added value of using formal network measures of social capital to study the relationship between social capital and health;
(ii) To examine whether older adults are more vulnerable to social network and neighbourhood environmental influences on health; and
(iii) To assess the influence of social capital on health longitudinally.

* MoNNET-HA was funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) [MOP-84584] and was not originally designed as a cohort study. The study team consisted of Drs. Spencer Moore(PI), Ulf Bockenholt, Mark Daniel, Kate Frohlich, Lise Gauvin, Yan Kestens, and Lucie Richard. Additional funding provided by a CIHR - Institute of Aging Catalyst Grant (CHL‐126208) enabled the MoNNET-HA Cohort to be established. The MoNNET-HA Cohort study team consists of Drs.
