ReACH Prenatal Alcohol Exposure Harmonization Initiative
The objectives of the ReACH Prenatal Alcohol Exposure (PAE) Harmonization Initiative were to:
* Identify the prevalence and correlates of drinking and heavy drinking before and during pregnancy in Canadian women.
* Determine the impact of drinking during pregnancy on birthweight and gestational age at birth in Canadian cohorts.
* Provide proof of principle for retrospective harmonization of individual participant data from separate pregnancy-and-birth cohort studies.
* Inform prevention strategies for prenatal alcohol exposure.
