WHO Study on Global Ageing and Adult Health
This study was created to improve the empirical understanding of the health and well-being of older adults in less developed countries, as part of a survey programme at WHO designed to develop a reliable data collection platform and data collection methods that improve comparability of data across countries.

SAGE - South Africa
The population consists of people aged 18 years and older in South Africa. As the focus of SAGE is older adults, a much larger sample of respondents aged 50 years and older were selected with a smaller comparative sample of respondents aged 18-49 years.
