Seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 among African Canadians: Clinical and Epidemiological Correlates
The objectives of this study are:
* To determine the seroprevalence of COVID-19 infection among a population of African Canadians compared with seroprevalence rates in other populations in Canada.
* To determine the extent to which serological evidence of infection is associated with the presence of neutralizing antibodies.
* To examine the relationship between serological evidence of infection and medical comorbidities as well as socio-demographic variables.
* To determine the sustainability of seropositivity and neutralizing antibodies over a period of 24 months after the baseline determination of infection by serology.

The majority of subjects are enrolled from the community. Some individuals are enrolled through hospitals. The 4 main models of enrollment based on the venues where subjects are enrolled are: * Model 1: hospitals * Model 2: community centre/church hall * Model 3: community health clinic * model 4: remote In model 1 (hospitals), the patient’s primary care team introduces the study. If the participant is interested in participating or obtaining more information, the research team would become engaged. Model 2 and Model 3 provide community venues where the study team enrolls participants and performs the study visit(s).
